Mountain High Broncs & Bulls this Father’s Day Weekend

 ENTERPRISE, Ore – For the 9th time in a row, Mountain High Broncs and Bulls will entertain the crowd over Father’s Day Weekend with another fast action, explosive and unforgettable rodeo show at the Wallowa County Fairgrounds in Enterprise.

The rodeo that is sanctioned by the Elite Professional Bull Rider Association and Western States Ranch Rodeo Association features some of the best bronc and bull riders nationwide.

Friday’s performance kicks off at 6 p.m. with the first section of the Ranch Saddle Bronc and bull riding competition followed by the “$100 the Hard Way” challenging daring souls to remove a $100 bill rubber-banded to a bull’s horn.

The Rising Star of Bullfighters Josh Canode along with seasoned veteran Colt Hager, are scheduled as the MHBB ‘Disciples of Danger’ this year…get a grip & hang on as they lay it on the line!

48 competitors are scheduled in the bull riding event half of which are represented by the Elite Professional Bull Riders Association while the remaining 24 slots will be filled through an open entry selection.

The best known bull rider to be at the fairgrounds this weekend will be bull rider Cody Ford, from Heppner, and the winner of the PBR national finals held in Las Vegas. J.D. Brock who won the world saddle bronc title just two weeks ago in Amarillo, TX, will also ride at the event.

Wallowa County local and PRCA bull rider Cade Steen and bronc rider George Kohlhepp will also be performing.

Saturday’s performance starts at 3:30 p.m. featuring the best Mutton Busting has to offer followed by the second section of the Ranch Saddle Bronc and bull riding competition.

The “Ring of Fire” gives spectators another chance to participate by standing in a hula hoop as long as they can with a fighting bull running loose in the arena will finish off an evening off fast action performances.

Tickets are available at the gate.  Half Pints for Half Price, courtesy of Ed Staub & Sons. $12 for adults and $6 for 12 and under. All tickets will be entered into a drawing for two Wildhorse Casino vacation package.
