What do you do when your town is overrun by ravenous rats? You call the Pied Piper! Take a trip to Hamelin Town this Saturday, April 28th with the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) and over 50 local students as they perform an original musical adaptation of the classic tale, THE PIED PIPER.
The local cast features Cheyenne Ray as the Pied Piper, Omega Thiel as Sara, as well as Lucy Kissinger and Morgan Green as the Mayor’s Son and Daughter. Also featured are Lexi Nelson, McKenzie Gray, Sallie Staidle, Katelynn Sidoti, Madison Falk and Eliza Irish as the Mayor’s Council and Gabriel Bush, Gracie Carlsen, Haven Johnson, Nodyo Papinain, Rylee Kreutzer, Samantha Zeigler, Tori Suto, Chance Arbogast and Caden Spear as the Cooks.
To complete the ensemble, Makennah Ray, Jacob Falk, Guylen Snyder, Madeline Nelson, Anna Moholt, Austin Lynn, Christian Morris, Casidee Harrod, Lilee Post, Sabrina Albee, Aimee Ehmsen, Kasey Duncan, Nancy Thiel, Layla Snyder and Josh Preltman will appear as the Towns Kids of Hamelin, and Parker Siele, Blade Suto, Chase Duncan, Kauren Poulson, Rachael Lester, Baily Vernane, Mary Thiel, Jocelyn Alexander, Roan Flynn, Mattigan Monshke, Molly Curry, Elizabeth Sarbacher, Cammy Word, Marina Monshske, Greta Carlson, William Clark and Gabreil Troutman will play the troublesome Rats.
Kari and Chris Kelly of the MCT will be assisted by this year’s assistant directors Rebekah Troutman and Jake Evans. Piano accompaniment will be provided by Beverly Wyffels.
THE PIED PIPER will be presented at 1:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M. at the OK Theatre in Enterprise, Oregon. Tickets are $7 for Adults, $5 for Students K-12, and $2 for Preschool children and are available at the door.
