Reseeding efforts after spraying yellow starthistle along the Grande Ronde River

Yellow starthistle is a noxious weed that invades rangelands. Private landowners, NRCS, SWCD, Nez Perce Tribe, Wallowa County, USFS, BLM, and Washington agencies are pulling together to keep yellow starthistle from further harming rangeland in northeast Oregon and southeast Washington by coordinating treatment efforts.

For more information on the project and/or information on cost-share opportunities for private landowners, contact Jean Jancaitis.
