Under 8 players and their coaches get instruction from OYSA’s John Madding (left, back to camera) at the 2013 Wallowa Valley Youth Soccer Skills Clinic

What: Soccer Skills Clinic for Coaches and Players (Ages 5 to 13), with instruction by Matt Dacey of the Oregon Youth Soccer Association

When: Saturday, July 26th 9AM to 12:30PM

Where: Jensen Ball Fields (behind Safeway in Enterprise)

Youth soccer players and their coaches are invited to participate in a free skills clinic in preparation for this fall’s youth soccer season. Age-specific instruction will be given to coaches and players by Matt Dacey, an assistant coach at Portland State University and USSF certified “A” level youth coach.

Age group times (players and their coaches):

Ages 5 to 7; from 9 till 10AM

Ages 8 to 10; 10:15 till 11:15AM

Ages 11 to 13; 11:30 till 12:30

 

Matt Dacey holds a USSF National ‘A’ License and a USSF National Youth License and has served on the Region I Boys ODP Staff, Region IV Girls ODP Staff as well as the State ODP and Coaching Education staffs in Oregon, Colorado and Virginia. Matt currently serves as an Assistant Coach at Portland State University, Technical Director for BSC Oregon and Manager of Coaching Education for Oregon Youth Soccer Association.
