The Oregon State Police Fish & Wildlife Division is asking for the public’s assistance to identify the person(s) responsible for the unlawful taking and wasting of two mature Mule Deer bucks in Harney County.
On May 2, 2020, the Oregon State Police Fish and Wildlife Division was notified of two deceased Mule Deer bucks off of Lawn Rd between Hwy 205 and Hwy 78 in the (Steens Unit).
The deceased bucks were discovered by a local resident/rancher who noticed them lying in a field. OSP Fish & Wildlife Troopers’ responded to the scene and discovered the bucks had been shot sometime the night before (May 1) or early the morning of May 2.

Cash rewards can also be awarded for turning in people who destroy habitat, illegally obtain licenses/tags and for the unlawful lending/borrowing of big game tags.
