The $4.3 million dollar project awarded to Tidewater Contractors on the Minam Curve and Bank Stabilization Project on highway 82 is on hold for the winter. Oregon Department of Transportation felt it would be too difficult to continue such a major road project during the winter months. The correction of the 25 miles per hour hairpin curve will continue in the spring as weather allows. The Minam Curve project should be completed at the end of 2019 according to ODOT.
