The Wallowa Valley Music Alliance is pleased to announce the 7th annual Joseph Mountain Jubilee–“Where the Mountains Meet the Music”—on Saturday, July 7 in Joseph, Oregon.

This one-day festival features a variety of original local, regional, and national “mountain-country-roots-a-billy-grass” music at multiple venues in majestic downtown Joseph, Oregon.

Founder and event organizer Tammy Kruger is pleased with the lineup of music this year, which includes Grizzly Goat from Utah, Crazy Mountain Billies (a.k.a. Andy “Banjo” Bormes), and The Country Club from Boise, Idaho. Returning to the festival this year are favorites Mason & Weed (CA) and Wallowa County’s own Elwood, along with E. Wayne Jones, Meredith Brann, The Local Yokels, Laura Skovlin & Sue Juve, and Homemade Jam.

Venues hosting music at this year’s festival are The Wallowa County Farmer’s Market, Red Horse coffee Traders, The Stubborn Mule, The Rusty Spur, Embers Brew House, and East Fork Brewing. Kruger says, “We are happy to partner with these venues to celebrate home-grown music on the streets of Joseph.” Joseph Mountain Jubilee also receives support from Community Bank.

In conjunction with the festival, the Wallowa Valley Music Alliance will be holding a yard sale next to the Wallowa County Farmer’s Market from 9am until 2pm. All proceeds go to Music Alliance programs.

Joseph Mountain Jubilee festival-goers will enjoy all of these musical performances for free.  For up-to-date information on bands, schedule, and other festival details, visit www.josephmountainjubilee.com, find us on Facebook, or contact Tammy Kruger at 541-398-0582.
