So you’ve finished your manuscript or are close to it. Now what? Trying to get your book published can feel like floundering in deep water. Where does one even begin?
Let us throw you a lifeline with this two-hour online workshop led by award winning author, Mary Ellen Emerick. In it, you will learn how to wade through many of the aspects of getting traditionally published and help answer questions like; Do I need an agent or just a publisher? What the heck goes in a query letter? What is a platform? The workshop will be a mix of discussion, writing, and informational resources. Bring something you are working on to use for the writing exercises. The focus of this workshop is on fiction and narrative non-fiction, and is based on traditional publishing company publishing.
All skill levels are welcome.
